Size guide
Find your fit: necklace lengths in cm and inches, US ring sizes with diameters and circumferences, and quick measuring tips.
Necklace lengths
Necklace length changes everything about how a piece sits. Measure a necklace you already love, or use a soft tape around your neck and add the drop you want.
Length (cm) | Length (in) | How it sits |
|---|---|---|
35–40 cm | 14–16 in | Choker — snug at the base of the neck |
40–45 cm | 16–18 in | Princess — the classic pendant length |
45–50 cm | 18–20 in | Just below the collarbone — ideal over crew necks |
50–60 cm | 20–24 in | Matinee — the layering workhorse |
60–90 cm | 24–36 in | Opera — long, drapes beautifully over knits |
Ring sizes
Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres — that is your circumference. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest.
US size | Diameter (mm) | Circumference (mm) |
|---|---|---|
5 | 15.7 | 49.3 |
6 | 16.5 | 51.9 |
7 | 17.3 | 54.4 |
8 | 18.1 | 57.0 |
9 | 19.0 | 59.5 |
Fit tips
- Between two ring sizes? Choose the larger — especially for wider bands.
- Bracelets: measure your wrist snugly, then add 1.5–2 cm for a comfortable drape.
- Chokers should leave room for two fingers between chain and skin.
